Rap Crap was invented so people with no musical talent at all could participate in the recording industry. It also provides the current crop of adolescents with another item to add to hair and clothes that their parents are certain to hate. Every generation needs styles in hair clothes and music that will piss off their parents. Makes you wonder what their kids will do, doesn't it?

Probably rediscover opera! Heheh! That's the really rebellious music these days! the real music of the 'outsider'.

How ignorant. This line of music is from a part of this song where it's a drum beat. This isn't how the whole song looks. This is from an artist that has won more grammy's than any artist you listen to. Rap and it's associated style have nothing to do with pissing off peoples' parents.

Times have changed in the music business as most of the so called stars have no talent at all.. Rap is a joke and rock and roll is getting there.. Sad time in our music history !!!

What an idiot. Just like your parents thought rock sucked (and they were wrong too). Way to make fun of the grammy winning artist of the year based off one biased line of music. It's a drum beat in one part of a song, wow. Compare that to some random lines of another song by a black guy and tada old people get to rant about "rap crap". Go back to sleep old man.

there's music for all tastes, rap is not my favourite, but i don't say it's bad...well there's a couple rap song i like, but i will not compare any kind of music because is like you want an orange to taste like an apple...that's retarded.
every kind of music is different, maybe there's some influences
but that's what makes each kind of music unique.
music is for people. not for a tiny group that believes that they are better than others.

Stop with your stupid prejudices about music. You guys are no better than racists with your musical elitism. There is good in almost every type of music. The whole world is beautiful, you just have to learn how to look at it. I enjoy some rap just as I enjoy some hungarian folk music, or scottish folk music, or indie music, or metal, or grunge.... learn to expand yourself and not be the same stupid person from yesterday. Our tomorrow must always be better than our today.

African Americans are dead like the Indians, they're considered as black people now, so the music didn't change.

I've wondered about this. African-American people developed some of the best in uniquely American music (blues, jazz, rock and roll...), yet now produce crap rap. WTF happened?
I, for one, find rap intensely irritating, especially when it is booming from the car next to me at a stoplight at a volume that I can feel in my guts, and the bass notes are making parts of the car vibrate.

Unfortunatly, This is the truth. Music has reverted to cavemen beating on rocks with other rocks. The problem is that it's not just black music, it's ALL music.
