It is so amazing how animals can adapt to our quickly-changing world. Example: Crows in Mexico use cars at intesections to crush nuts. When it's time for the pedestrians cross they go pick up the nuts and carry them off to feed their young.

Humans are adaptable through our intelligence and ingenuity, yes, but humans are not biologically adaptable. If, say, the climate suddenly got a lot colder, or a lot hotter, a good 10% of the population would be able to survive via technology, but natural selection wouldn't be enough to keep the rest of the world from dying off. Basically, the more complicated an organism, the less biologically adaptable it is. Bacteria are extremely adaptable and will no doubt exist on this planet until Andromeda collides with the milky way and Earth gets thrown into deep space. Humans, not so much,
